It is a 2004 VW Polo 9N SE 1.4 16V 75 bhp with 50,400 miles on the clock. The car is in excellent condition both inside and out bar a scrape on the front left bump strip and a few minor scratches considering it is a cat D. For sale is my much loved VW golf. It is very reliable and in good overall condition. No mechanical problems with engine/ gearbox, every gear is fine and never struggles to engage (Manual gearbox). Brand new sachs sports clutch at 112500miles as old one had worn out. Replaced the clutch cable at the same time. Only a couple of issues with paint (lacquer peel on bonnet (less than the size of your palm) and a small spot on the roof (about half the size of that on the bonnet)) and only one major scratch (on the bonnet and would likely be hidden/fixed/repaired with a paint repair pen). Interior intact with no rips/ tears throughout. Back right window doesnt work (very common problem on golfs) so i have wedged it shut from the inside of the door and unplugged the switch. Can be both relatively economic (especially on longer journeys) and pretty nippy, depending on how heavy your right foot is. MOT until 12th August 2012 Currently declared SORN due to Insurance/ Tax laws. Has original alloy wheels (to be honest poor condition as the paint is starting to flake away but they do come up clean), decent tread on all tyres, power assisted steering, automatic electric windows all round, height adjustable drivers seat, trip computer, central locking. The plastic parts of the bumpers are darker now than at the time of the photo. Will upload new photos as soon as i can. 1996 – N reg VW Golf mk3 3 door in red. Just passed 70k miles today. Externally there are a few minor dents/scrapes and laquer peel but mechanically and underneath it is faultless. Perfect for a daily runner or first car, cheap tax, cheap insurance, park it where you like with no worries, you should see around 40mpg. My girlfriends been using it the last couple of months and its been perfect, never let her down. Cambelt was done by the last owner, i have just last week put some powerflex poly rear beam bushes in it to replace the knackered original bushes, comfy recaro like front and rear seats from a gti to replace the dirty and worn originals, two front tyres are almost new, lots of tread on the rears. I have mot’d it yesterday and it flew straight through so has the full 12 months, road tax runs out the end of this month (nov) but i can tax it for the buyer at cost if need be.
